If you've been wanting to explore more of what yoga has to offer, this is a great start!
Come discover the missing key to finding your true yogic strength, power and transformation. It’s easy to overlook Yoga’s ethical and moral codes—called the Yamas and Niyamas because asana or poses are so popular. Many yoga practitioners know little about this tool of the yoga practice that is rich and brings as much if not more awareness to our way of being on and off the mat than even our asana practice. The Yamas are essentially a series of moral and ethical guidelines for everyday life, helping us to behave in a pure and non-damaging way, both towards ourselves and others. This workshop will explore the philosophy of yoga’s Yamas the first l of the 8 Limbed Path and it’s precious jewels for daily living.
We will also explore the conscious Commitment of taking 100% Responsibility for the circumstances in our lives.
- A lecture and deep discussion of each Yama and the philosophy behind how they connect directly to our lives
- Introduction to conscious tools for daily living
- A short but heavily themed all levels Yama flow (30 minutes)
- Q & A
